About the Film

Originally created in 2006, the " ZARATUSTRA" Project has been reborn. Twenty years later, in 2026, I have fully remastered the music, upscaled the visuals to 4K, and applied a creative color correction that breathes entirely new life into the film.

The Journey

In 2004, I traveled to Iran – following the ancient path of Zarathustra. I visited every site I could find, recording, filming, and photographing every detail that presented itself along the way. What unfolded was an exceptionally rich experience – an abundance of material that would take 2 years  to fully process and shape into its final form.

The Music

I had the privilege of collaborating with renowned world virtuose musicians from Iran and India, whose inspiration and artistry helped bringing this production to the next level. Their contributions gave the film a sonic depth that mirrors the spiritual weight of the subject itself.

Encountering the message of my Persian ancestor moved me to my core. Persia is a fascinating, ancient culture with profound spirituality – and even today, in every detail of its art, architecture, and way of life, the inherited wisdom of Zarathustra still shines through.
