The groundbreaking television series 7 Up reaches its end with a moving portrait of its subjects as they enter their eighth decade.

Over the course of 63 years, the Up series has chronicled the lives of a group of individuals from a cross-section of British society, detailing the events that defined them as they grow older.

For 70 Up, the final instalment, with Asif Kapadia taking over from Michael Apted, who passed away in 2021, the participants turn 70 and look back on the lives that we have been witness to.

Wednesday, 7 October at 8.30pm on SBS.
